Summary of Duties Asset Management Interns will support the Field Maintenance Department by assisting with projects related to the asset management program, including inventory of consumables, tools, airfield assets, maintenance equipment, and vehicles. Interns will interact with management and other personnel across the organization. Internship Duration June 1, 2024 - August 30, 2024 Flexible Schedule Monday - Friday, 10-40 hours per week Safety Sensitive This is a safety-sensitive position and will require a pre-employment drug screen. Position Description Carry out the vision and mission of the MAC Field Maintenance Department to further the MAC's asset management initiative. Assist with the field inspection of assets and audit MAC infrastructure, including the use of GIS, which may include plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting assets. Assist in the development of a fleet parts and equipment inventory system. Perform research of historical documents and records to assist MAC staff with various projects and initiatives. Summarize and present procedures, data, and accomplishments to others in the department to assist in planning infrastructure maintenance. Utilize asset and fleet management software within a field environment. Utilize other software as needed for data entry and record keeping. Other duties as assigned. Valid driver's license. Intermediate skill using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Basic skill level using email. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to work independently without close supervision. Excellent analytical skills. Ability to pass background check to obtain MAC security badge.
