WAREHOUSE MANAGER | Ogden, UT Company Overview:Join our dynamic team at Supply Options, a leading distributor of architectural metal cladding (ACM) and sheet metal products. We specialize in providing high-quality building materials to our valued clients. As we continue to expand our operations and grow our customer base, we are seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations and ensure the efficient and effective handling of our inventory. Position Overview: As the Warehouse Manager, you will play a critical role in managing all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and order fulfillment. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment, optimizing warehouse processes and workflows, and ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, logistics, and inventory control, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and maximizing efficiency. Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of ACM and sheet metal products. Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and operational goals. Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems to maximize space utilization and efficiency. Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits. Coordinate with sales and purchasing teams to ensure adequate stock levels and timely fulfillment of customer orders. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, and inventory turnover, and implement corrective actions as necessary. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall warehouse performance. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements related to warehouse operations. Requirements: Proven experience in warehouse management, logistics, or inventory control, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in warehouse management software and systems, as well as Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for warehouse operations. Ability to lift and move heavy objects and work in a warehouse environment.
