The successful candidate will be professional, well-organized, self-motivated, capable of meeting deadlines, and adept at managing multiple complex projects.Job Duties:Provided legal counsel and representation to clients in municipal liability, employment law, and government law cases.Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies and arguments.Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs, and memoranda.Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure efficient case management.Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in cases.Stay abreast of changes in relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Indiana State Bar or ability to obtain admission promptly.Minimum of 3+ years of experience practicing law, preferably in Municipal Liability, Employment Law, or Government Law.Proven track record of success in handling complex legal cases.Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Professional demeanor and commitment to ethical conduct.Certifications (Preferred):Certification in Municipal Law, Employment Law, or related field.Skills:Legal research and analysis.Case management and organization.Written and oral advocacy.Negotiation and dispute resolution.Time management and prioritization.Proficiency in legal technology and software applications.Attention to detail and accuracy.A competitive salary, professional work environment, comprehensive benefits package, paid time off, and support for career advancement are part of the firm's benefits package.
