We are seeking an outstanding individual who will be responsible and accountable for health monitoring on Crossville farms. This position will report to Laboratory Supervisor. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes: Must be a Self-Motivator with ability to perform tasks with accuracy and efficiency Good communication, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills Team oriented Valid driver's license Willing to travel to different farms The following duties will vary according to the needs of the department. Normal duties will include: Collect environmental samples (dust, shoe covers, etc.) from the farms Collect blood and swab samples from the chickens Assemble supplies necessary to perform the sample collection Assist in basic laboratory work as requested by the supervisor Maintain sufficient inventory of supplies to prevent work delays Weekend work as scheduled by the supervisor May perform other tasks as deemed necessary by supervisor
