We’re searching for an experienced housekeeping manager to ensure our hotel is impeccably clean for our guests. You will lead our housekeeping team, ensure their work meets our high standards of cleanliness, and go above and beyond guest expectations to achieve that “wow” factor for repeat business. You must have previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality industry. Responsibilities: • Make sure all cleaning equipment is in good working condition and schedule repairs as needed• Oversee the housekeeping department budget, take inventory, and ensure there is a stock of adequate cleaning supplies• Track of areas cleaned by room attendants and contact the front office to handle room damage or maintenance needs• Manage the daily tasks of the housekeeping department, including cleaning guest rooms and public areas• Lead, hire, and train hotel housekeeping staff to adhere to our high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction Qualifications: • Must possess excellent leadership, organizing, and customer service skills• A High school diploma or GED is required• At least 3 years of experience in a senior role in the housekeeping department • At least 2+ years experience in hospitality or guest services • Extensive knowledge of environmental services (EVS), including detailed cleaning processes and a wide range of cleaning supplies and equipment Compensation: $18 per hour About Company: The Lift Bridge Lodge is an independently owned hotel on the shores of Lake Superior. We are part of the Ascend Collection by Choice Hotels. This property has 123 rooms and is situated in the heart of Canal Park in Duluth, MN.
