Weekend Experience Director

Desired experience: musical and technical expertise, detail-oriented leadership, staff management skills, creative/engaging worship planning. This is a Sunday thru Thursday full-time position.Responsibilities and accountabilities of this position include oversight and leadership of all aspects of the weekend experience:General Worship Execution Oversee all aspects of both traditional and modern worship services. Collaborate with traditional and modern worship leaders as needed to plan verbal spiritual leadership, creating a worshipful atmosphere and cohesive messaging Collaborate with traditional and modern worship leaders on song selection to create a cohesive worship experience coordinating with sermon material when appropriate Oversee overall worship atmosphere and experience in the physical space including collaboration on audio, lighting, and design/decor Oversee worship team meetings, carrying out worship vision for both venues After meetings, ensure participants follow up on action items Ensure the communication of weekly service details to all involved staff Plan and execute special worship experiences such as Christmas and Easter collaborating with musical staff, technical staff, volunteers, and other staff as needed Oversee Angels volunteer team ensuring that seat/pew pockets are stocked and ready for weekend services Oversee accuracy of Planning Center Online weekly plans including all special items into worship such as communion, baptisms, and new member Sundays, communicating changes with staff and pastors Coordinate special service items to ensure smooth incorporation of communion, baptism, new members, and Family Ministry milestones Coordinate special weekend needs with Guest Services Management of Worship Staff Oversight of modern worship leader giving feedback and collaborating on weekly musical preparation and planning Oversight of Choir Director and Orchestra Director collaborating on song selections and worship elements Oversight of Media Director and Production Coordinator to ensure tech is smooth for worship experiences and events overseeing the use of videos in worship Providing overall vision for AVL upgrades, overseeing tech staff execution Oversight of online worship including digital greeter team, collaborate with Media Director and Production Coordinator to monitor online attendance and engagement and audio/video quality Collaboration with Media Director and music staff regarding volunteer team development Worship budget management Coordination of Special Weekend ElementsCollaborate with Creative Arts Team to brainstorm fun Sunday morning elements (Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, service giveaways, special recognitions, fun moments, photo booths etc.)
